Shrines · Tokushima
Located in Naruto, Tokushima Prefecture, Ōasahiko Shrine is the Ichinomiya, or principal shrine, of the former Awa Province, known locally as Obasan. A long approach lined with tall trees leads to its hall, and a giant sacred camphor tree over 1,000 years old stands in the grounds, along with a small stone bridge built by German prisoners of war during WWI.
