Located on Kuroshima Island in Sasebo, Nagasaki Prefecture, Kuroshima Church is a red-brick Romanesque church completed in 1902, built largely by the island's Catholic community under French missionary Father Marmand. The island's village is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Hidden Christian Sites in the Nagasaki Region, and the church is an Important Cultural Property.
