Located in the Aokigahara forest in Fujikawaguchiko, Yamanashi Prefecture, Fugaku Wind Cave is a lava tube formed by an eruption of Mount Fuji over a thousand years ago. Staying around 3°C all year, it was once used as a natural refrigerator to store silkworm cocoons and seeds, and visitors can see ice pillars and rope-like lava formations inside.
