Located in Abashiri, Hokkaido, Cape Notoro is a grassy headland rising about 40 meters above the Sea of Okhotsk, crowned by a striking black-and-white striped lighthouse. Surrounded by wide open meadows, it offers breathtaking views of the sea, and in winter it is one of the best places to watch drift ice.
