Located in Tsuruta, Aomori Prefecture, Tsuru no Maihashi Bridge is Japan's longest triple-arch wooden bridge, spanning 300 meters across Tsugaru Fujimi Lake. Completed in 1994, it was built from over 700 Aomori cypress logs more than 150 years old, using traditional Japanese carpentry techniques. Its three sweeping arches evoke a pair of cranes taking flight, framed by views of Mount Iwaki, known locally as Tsugaru Fuji, and local legend holds that crossing the bridge brings long life.
