Located on the summit of Mount Inazumi in Kanonji, Kagawa Prefecture, the upper shrine of Takaya Shrine is known for its Torii Gate in the Sky. Standing about 400 meters above sea level, the gate frames a sweeping view of the city of Kanonji and the Seto Inland Sea, especially stunning at sunset or above a sea of clouds.
