Located in Goshogawara, Aomori Prefecture, Sannobohiyoshi Shrine is a tranquil sanctuary situated within the nationally designated Sannobō Historic Site. Surrounded by dense forest and centuries-old stone lanterns, the shrine grounds preserve medieval temple foundation ruins that reflect a rich historical tradition of Shinbutsu-shūgō (Shinto-Buddhist syncretism) on the Tsugaru Peninsula.
