Located in Tondabayashi, Osaka Prefecture, the PL Peace Tower is a 180-meter white tower built in 1970 by the Perfect Liberty religious organization to pray for world peace and honor the victims of all wars. Its unusual, almost futuristic silhouette can be seen from far across the southern Osaka plain, and it is lit up spectacularly during the PL fireworks festival.
