Located in Tsuno, Kochi Prefecture, at the foot of the Shikoku Karst, Hakuryu Lake is a small hidden pond with astonishingly clear cobalt-blue water. Its color comes from limestone in the ground, and with carp swimming through the transparent water it has been nicknamed Kochi's Monet Pond on social media.
