Akagi Nanmen Senbonzakura

Located on the southern slopes of Mount Akagi in Maebashi, Gunma Prefecture, Akagi Nanmen Senbonzakura is a 1.3-kilometer road lined with about 1,000 cherry trees, selected among Japan's 100 best cherry blossom spots. In mid-April the trees form a pink tunnel, often paired with a bright yellow carpet of rapeseed flowers along the road.
