Fukuroda Falls

Located in Daigo, Ibaraki Prefecture, Fukuroda Falls cascades 120 meters down four tiers of rock, which is why it is also called Yodo-no-taki, the four-step falls, and it ranks among Japan's three most famous waterfalls. A tunnel leads to viewing decks at its base, and in very cold winters the falls can freeze into a spectacular wall of ice.
